Skytallia has been given the task of overthrowing a kingdom. During the famous Waterfly Festival, her team successfully topples the country's leadership. However, unexpectedly, it seems the mysterious bird-like people known as the Koe are actually the ones pulling the strings.
This is the first step of many. Forces far beyond the realm of humanity have started to move in the background, as long awaited plans are being set in motion.
Prince Zechariah Vardent is the last free member of his family after the fall of their kingdom. His flight takes him through nature's domain in the Hailen Wilds, and to the sands of the Emerald City, Toric.
Someone, or something, has been pushing him along this path, connecting him with allies in the most unexpected of places. To Zech, this is the path to reclaiming his throne. To Skytallia, this is about something much greater.
But as the fate of all Esta begins to turn, the powers slowly gathering around Skye and Zech may just be what is needed to confront the coming storm.
